The position
We are currently looking for a Software QA Analyst for our R&D team in Chennai, India to focus on our nCode / GHS/ Tescia software.
You will be responsible for Manual / Interactive / Automated testing of various products produced by HBK.
You will join our dedicated R&D department supporting to minimise risk associated with distribution of software to customers. You will be reporting to Manager, Quality Assurance in India.

Primary responsibilities

You will be responsible for:
Development and execution of test plans and strategies for nCode products. This will include manual, automation and interactive testing.
Provide leadership for the test team, both technically and managerially.
Lead and facilitate such meetings as daily standups, reviews, retrospective, etc.
Work in conjunction with the global Verification & Validation team to drive and align HBK global processes and standards.
Setting up of system tests for new feature testing and ensuring those system tests remain up and running.
To contribute in conjunction with other members of the team to ensure all software errors are identified and reported.
Monitor system test results and perform first level diagnostics.
Assist with resolution and reproduction of user software problems.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the software by working in conjunction with software testers and developers based in the Europe.

Professional qualifications

2-7 years experience in similar previous roles. This may include some relevant experience in developing, enhancing and maintaining test automation framework(s) using test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Win App Driver, Squish with Java, Python or any scripting language.
Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Computer Science or Information Technology.
Knowledge of testing processes, tools and methodologies.
Knowledge / experience of Agile Software Development & Testing, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
Programming experience using C#, Java, Python or similar.
Knowledge and experience of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) using Jenkins, AzureDevOps or similar.
Knowledge and experience of SQL, Java or batch / shell scripting.
Knowledge and experience of LINUX operating systems would be advantageous.
Knowledge on Durability / Measurement / Sound & Vibration Engineering would be an advantage.
Candidates who also hold Agile or ISTQB Software Test certification would be an advantage.
