Job description - Team and Role Overview

This role oversees the Quality Assurance in Test Automation and Test Tool. This is a tremendous opportunity to strengthen business, product, technical skills. Our group maintains the integrity reliability of the Calypso products working closely with the functional QA team and Engineering groups.

What you will be doing

Design and develop automated test strategy for across of Calypso products and features.

Understand the automation effort by analyzing the requirements of project and assist manager to put the automation plan.

Understand calypso product and functionality , and design automation tests by working closely with functional QA team.

Experience in API and frontend testing as well as test automation frameworks.

Collaborate within an Agile development team.

Make sure automation suite runs continuously in Jenkin and maintain benchmark.

Identify Training requirements and forward it to the Project Manager (Technical and Soft skills)

Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for automation testing as per standards defined by the organization.

Ensure content and structure of all Test Automation / artifacts is documented and maintained and review the Test Cases Automation suite and documents regular base.

Track and prepare the report of testing automation activities like test automation result, code coverage, required resources, performance baselines etc.

What we are looking for

Minimum 7+ years of QA experience.

Minimum of 5 years experience working with Banking Software/Fintech company like Calypso.

Minimum of 3 years experience working with any of QTP/ Selenium/Cucumber/Cypress based automation frameworks.

Knowledge in JAVA, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular 10+

Working knowledge of Agile software development methodology.

Understanding Banking industry and bank operation cycle.

Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and experience working with such as Jenkins, GitHub.

Experience with code version systems like SVN, Git.

Experience with mainstream defect tracking tools and test management tools like JIRA.

Unit, functional and integration testing.

Experience with Git commands

Familiar with one of MySQL / Oracle / Postgres DB

Experience working in operating system like Linux is plus

Solid understanding of Virtualization and Container technologies and experience in working with Docker and Kubernetes is plus
