Skills & Level of Knowledge

The tester assigned will be responsible to develop and execute manual testing as well as service tests and databases in order to ensure system quality.

• Test Case design and execution

o Functional testing

o Non-functional testing

o Exploratory testing

o Regression testing

o Smoke testing

o White box and black box testing

o Web Application testing

• Should be strong in Test design techniques.

• Bug reporting and tracking/management using tools like VSO, TFS or Jira

• Service / backend testing (required). Experience with SoapUI is a plus but not mandatory.

• Advanced / Intermediate knowledge: SQL, No-SQL Databases like Cosmo & MongoDB, API testing, Test management tools

• Understanding of Concepts and technologies like Git, branches, continues integration, etc.

• Able to work without supervision / Proactive

Job Location: Chennai / Mumbai / Pune

Job Description

• 4 – 12 years of Experience with API Testing.
• Good Knowledge of API testing techniques and usage of API tools SOAP UI/JMeter (REST /SOAP)
• Candidate should be able to build the API request based on the Business document and able to work individually
• Programming skills to understand developer code is preferred .
• Proficient and should be able to create test scenario, test cases, test suites using JIRA, XRay and Bitbucket
• Exposure to Swagger, Selenium, JAVA Rest Assured or similar tools.
• Candidate should have basic knowledge about CICD Jenkins/Bitbucket Integrations Concepts.
• Usage of Postman or JMeter tool to modify requests to validate multiple outputs on scenarios.
• Ability to analyze results of tests and how to update existing test suits after API changes
• Should be willing to perform Integration and Functional Web testing is a must.
• Software lifecycle management skills: understand the application development tasks and plan testing cycles easily.

Good To have:

• Familiar with ACATS Framework -Cucumber with BDD Automation Tools.
• Knowledge on Selenium and Java
• Knowledge in Airline domain will be an added advantage.
